Your first visit

What to expect

1. Arrive about 15 minutes early

   That gives you time for paperwork without feeling rushed. If you are running late, call us — we would rather know than have you stressed in traffic.

2. Bring a few things

   Photo ID, your insurance card, a list of any medications you take (including doses), and any recent test results or records from a previous doctor.

3. We talk first

   Before any examination, we go through your history and what brought you in. This is the part most offices rush. We do not.

4. You leave with a plan

   You should know what happens next, what any medication is for, and when to come back. If you do not, ask before you leave.

Please do ask

There is no question here that is too small, too obvious, or too embarrassing. If you have been putting off a visit because of what you might have to talk about, that is exactly the kind of thing this office is for.

Insurance and cost

We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, IEHP, Anthem, Blue Shield, Health Net, Cigna and Aetna. If you do not have insurance, call us and we will tell you the self-pay cost up front — before you commit to anything.

Paperwork

New-patient forms are completed at the office. Arrive 15 minutes early and the front desk will get you set up — there is nothing you need to print in advance.

Language

Dr. Danhash speaks fluent Arabic, and our office serves a diverse community. If you would be more comfortable in another language, tell us when you book and we will arrange it.
